**Troubleshooting** ===== Buttons failed test===== If the buttons don't respond in CIGAL, next see if the device is working at all. To do so: Close CIGAL (if it was running) and use the Windows Start menu to select "Settings" and then "Control Panel". Select the Gaming Devices control panel. You should see a joystick device in the list of gaming devices. Select that device and then choose "Properties". If there is a Testing option, click on it. You should see a little test window appear. Press the response buttons and move the joystick. The button dots should indicate when the buttons are pressed and the cursor should move with the joystick.
