**CIGAL Reference Manual, Chapter 2 (Commands): PIN**
===== PIN -- Set the stationary point for rotation or scaling =====
**usage: pin varbptr x y z**

PIN specifies which point is to remain fixed during a vector rotation or scaling operation. It acts as like you had stuck a pin at that position and then rotated and/or scaled everything else around that point.  VARBPTR is the data variable you wish to PIN.  For example,
             pin vecs 0 0 0               ; pin variable VECS at the origin
