**ShowPlay Reference Manual, Chapter 3 (ControlVariables): preload**
===== Preload -- =====
An integer flag indicating whether to preload image stimulus data into memory (PRELOAD=1). If PRELOAD is zero, each stimulus will be read from its disk file on the fly, as soon as the previous stimulus has been displayed.

Default: PRELOAD = 1.

NOTE: PRELOAD = 0 doesn't work properly yet.
