**ShowPlay Reference Manual, Chapter 3 (ControlVariables): showport**

===== Showport -- Port to send codes out to peripheral device ===== 
Device number for sending out [[jvs:cigal:showplay:manual:chapter4:id|stimulus ID values]] if stimulus flag 2 is set (see [[jvs:cigal:showplay:manual:chapter4:flg|FLG]]).

  Port values are:
        1 = COM1:  serial port 1
        2 = COM2:  serial port 2
      100 = LPT0:  parallel port (default)
        -1 = digital output port (see CIGAL help for INIT)

Note: Before using either serial port, the port parameters must be set (see CIGAL help for COM1 or COM2). Before using the parallel port you must initialize it ([[jvs:cigal:manual:chapter7:pport|Parallel port]]).
