**ShowPlay Reference Manual, Chapter 5 (OutputFiles): showoutfile**
===== ShowPlay '.out' file -- ShowPlay output file =====

The '.out' file is a text file containing the most relevant and most commonly used pieces of
information recorded during a stimulus run. A copy of this file is also stored as record
number 21 in the 'pdigm' file. The columns in this file are (in order, left to right):

|stimulus#| The line number of each corresponding [[jvs:cigal:showplay:manual:chapter4:stimulus|stimulus]].|
|starttime| The onset time of the stimulus (in secs), relative to the start of first stimulus in the run. (Disdaqs are discarded before the start of the paradigm.)|
|stim_id| The [[jvs:cigal:showplay:manual:chapter4:id|id]] (condition) code for the stimulus.|
|response_flag| The [[jvs:cigal:showplay:manual:chapter4:flg|response flag]] for the stimulus.|
|stim_rt| The time from the start of the stimulus to the recorded time of the response key press.|
|stimrespkey| The number corresponding to the response key or joystick button.|
