==== Step 3: Overlay ====

 **3.1** Select the anatomical image bia3_7335_1_300 and change it to a three-plane view by clicking the 3-plane icon in the **View** taskbar. 
  
 **3.2** Select the functional image bia3_7335_1_6.
 
 **3.3** Transpose the functional image on top of the anatomical by clicking on the bia3_7335_1_300 image and then going to the **Overlay** taskbar and selecting the Overlay icon.
 
 **3.4** The overlay will appear in grayscale. To distinguish between the underlay and overlay select a color for underlay (bia3_7335_1_300) from the taskbar and a different color for overlay (bia3_7335_1_6). 
 
 **3.5** Brighten or darken the overaly using the brighten or darken icon in the **View** taskbar. 

 **3.6** To brighten or darken the underlay, select the "toggle overlay display on/off" icon from the **View** taskbar. This will temporarily remove the bia3_7335_1_6 overlay and allow you to brighten or darken the underlay as necessary.
