===== Set Outformat -- Set default image output header format =====
**usage:**\\
 **-set outformat formatname**\\

The OUTFORMAT is "xml" by default, which causes images to be written as ".img" files with a ".bxh" XML header. To change the default output image format use the [[jvs:fscan:manual:chapter2:set|SET]] command to set the value of "outformat" to one of the following names:

* analyze
* nifti
* xml
* dicom
* img
* afni
