===== Multi -- Use arrows in multi-function mode =====
**usage: & **

Entering the '&' character interactively activates the multi-modal arrow key option. In this mode, the function of the keyboard arrow keys and PageUp/PageDown keys (and their synonyms l/r,i/d,[/]) automatically varies depending on the status of the active display window.

Viewing GrayScale Images
  * Up/Down - adjust brightness
  * Left/Right - step through time
  * PgUp/PgDn - step through slices

Viewing Thresholded Images
  * Up/Down - adjust threshold
  * Left/Right - step through time  -- if [[jvs:fscan:manual:chapter3:imagekeys:highdims|HighDims]] is set for Time 
  * Left/Right - select lower (Left) or upper (Right) threshold for adjustment -- if [[jvs:fscan:manual:chapter3:imagekeys:highdims|HighDims]] is set for slices
  * PgUp/PgDn - step through slices
