To reset the screen settings:

Ctrl+Alt+R

Sometimes its necessary to blind login to the window's machines to reset the screen after a reboot.

1) Ctrl + Alt + Del ( for login screen )
2) Shift + Tab ( to step back to "Username" )
3) Enter your username
4) Tab
5) Enter your password
6) Enter

If the screen color changes, you've likely logged in.
7) Ctrl + Alt + R to reset video settings.
