Mounting window's file servers on Mac OS X

Open Finder
Select “Go” → Connect to Server ( or command + k )
enter: smb://servername
- smb://munin.dhe.duke.edu or smb://munin2.dhe.duke.edu from within the DMC firewall ( connected to clubs, or using vpn )
- smb://munin.biac.duke.edu or smb://munin2.biac.duke.edu from outside the firewall
enter your BIAC window's account credentials ( set domain to BIAC if needed )
select which share you would like to mount

there have been bug reports pertaining to smb and the Mountain Lion operating system, the current reported workaround is to include the share in your mount request
- ie: smb://munin.dhe.duke.edu/biac
- ie: smb://munin.biac.duke.edu/biac
