• Open Finder
• Select “Go” → Connect to Server ( or command + k )
• enter: smb://servername
  • smb://munin.dhe.duke.edu or smb://munin3.dhe.duke.edu from within the DMC firewall ( connected to clubs, or using vpn )

* smb://munin.biac.duke.edu or smb://munin3.biac.duke.edu from outside the firewall * enter your EAD account credentials ( set domain to DHE if needed )

• select which share you would like to mount

• there have been bug reports pertaining to smb and the Mountain Lion operating system, the current reported workaround is to include the share in your mount request
  • ie: smb://munin3.dhe.duke.edu/biac
  • ie: smb://munin.biac.duke.edu/biac
