Mounting window's file servers on Mac OS X
- Open Finder
- Select “Go” → Connect to Server ( or command + k )
- enter: smb://servername
- smb:munin3.dhe.duke.edu from within the DMC firewall ( connected to clubs, or using vpn ) <del> * smb:munin.biac.duke.edu or smb:munin3.biac.duke.edu from outside the firewall </del> * enter your EAD account credentials ( set domain to DHE if needed ) * select which share you would like to mount * there have been bug reports pertaining to smb and the Mountain Lion operating system, the current reported workaround is to include the share in your mount request * ie: smb:munin3.dhe.duke.edu/biac * ie: smb:munin.biac.duke.edu/biac%%
