CIGAL is currently available in a Beta release to registered academic users for research use only. Requests to become a registered user should be sent to the author, at jim.voyvodic@duke.edu. The program is distributed “as is” with no guarantee or promise of support, under a limited-use license arrangement.

CIGAL is distributed using the program VSync to facilitate installation and later version upgrades. Once you have registered, you can download VSync along with instructions for downloading CIGAL at:

http://hawking.biac.duke.edu/public/Software/CIGAL

You will need the username and password you received upon registration to access that site.

Once you are logged in, you should first download and read the file:

http://hawking.biac.duke.edu/public/Software/CIGAL/VSyncCIGAL_README.txt

Then follow those instructions to download and install the ZIP file:

http://hawking.biac.duke.edu/public/Software/CIGAL/VSyncCIGAL.zip
