CIGAL Reference Manual, Chapter 6 (RealTime): r_fork

r_fork -- Start a new asynchronous command stream

usage: r_fork opflg eflag ltime [Flag]

R_FORK is a REALTIME operator. It initiates an asynchronous command stream to execute the block of commands between this R_FORK and the corresponding R_END.

The FLAG argument controls options. It is a bit-flag with the following meanings (combine options by addition):

2 - this block of commands cannot be made synchronous by a R_SYNCH
     command in the calling fork.
4 - this block should use RT display screen 2 (see RT1RECT, SCR1RECT variables).
