fScan Reference Manual, Chapter 4 (Variables): zres
$zres -- Z dimension resolution
usage: $zres
ZRES is the Z dimension spatial resolution (distance between slices in 3-D image volume). For MR images, ZRES is the slice thickness plus the inter-slice gap distance.
ZRES is reported in millimeters.
