Showplay allows you to grab images of what is on the screen (screenshots) while running a paradigm. There are 3 ways to save screenshots:
save an image every X milliseconds (you specify how often X is)
save an image whenever the display has changed
save an image whenever you press <Control>-W on the keyboard
In order to save screenshots you should do the following:
In the Showplay menu, select “Save screen shots” to display a dialog box
In the “Setscreenshots” dialog box, specify your options (see below)
In the Showplay menu, load and run your Showplay task file
Verify that screenshots have been written to JPEG files
The SetScreenShots dialog box lets you specify screenshot parameters. You must enter values for:
FilenamePrefix - Saved screenshots will have this name, followed by image number and .jpg
FramePixels NX x NY - Width and height of images to be saved (do not exceed screen dimensions)
Position X0,Y0 - Screen coordinate for upper-left corner of saved region, or -1 to save center of screen
MaxNumImages - The maximum number of screenshots to save (actual number may be less)
By default, images will be taken from the center of the screen only when you press <Control>-W.
To save screenshots automatically you can click the options:
Note: If FileNamePrefix includes a folder name, the specified folder must already exist.
