The goggles must be connected to an active power supply and turned on. These power supplies are usually unplugged at night to reduce wear.

The goggle power supply is a gray plastic box located in the scanner equipment room. Make sure the correct power supply is plugged into the wall outlet and securely connected at the scanner penetration panel. Also make sure that the power supply cable connector is securely attached to the goggle control box. You could also double-check that the power cable is securely connected where it enters the magnet room on the inside of the penetration panel.
