For help using ShowPlay (this message) enter “help showplay” or choose “Showplay help” from the ShowPlay menu. In addition, all ShowPlay files except the stimuli themselves are text files that you can read through. The ShowPlay program (showplay.imp) and the ShowPlay menu (showplay.mnu) are CIGAL programs that specify exactly how ShowPlay works; these files should not be modified. They can be viewed within CIGAL by entering the LIST command in CIGAL's Command window as “list showplay” or “list showplay.mnu”.

All ShowPlay files can also be found by looking in sub-directories within the CIGAL system directory, SYSDIR. Showplay.imp, pdigminit.imp, and savepdigm.imp are in the PDIGMS sub-directory, and showplay.mnu is in the DLOGS sub-directory. Most other ShowPlay files, including all real-time code files are located in the CodeBlocks sub-directory.

Your stimulus parameter file and your stimulus list determine how your particular presentation will proceed. You are free to create and edit those files as needed.
