r_tell -- Report on the current position of a data variable pointer
usage: r_tell opflg eflag ltime LOffset Databuf WdByts
The current pointer position for the DATABUF variable is returned in LOFFSET. LOFFSET is set to the current byte position of DATABUF/WDBYTS. WDBYTS is 1 by default. If WDBYTS is specified as 0, it is automatically set to the wordsize of DATABUF, so that the LOFFSET is set to the current data element. This is useful for determining how far the program has stepped through a data array.
