The last step necessary before actually running the files on fScan is to create a text file to label the different run times. Opening a text file with gedit, write the specific runtime of the parameter, labelling each time block with the appropriate number. The example below illustrates a very basic parameter of a ten second break with thirty seconds of activity.

For more complex runs, with different tasks, simply add more numbers to the label, so instead of just 1=break and 2=activity, it can be 1=break, 2=activityA, and 3=activityB. When the run list has been completed, save it as run1list. It should appear as a text file within the scan's data set.
Another way to create timing references is to make a premade taskname (see more Taskname\here) that will run as an autotask on fScan.
