CIGAL Reference Manual, Chapter 3 (Functions): asin

Asin -- Calculate the arcsine of a variable

usage: result = asin(x)

The ASIN function returns the arcsine of its argument. The input value must be in the range -1 to 1, and the output will be in the range 0 to 180 degrees. Illegal input values result in an output value of -1. If the input X is a variable with more than one value, ASIN will generate an output variable with the same number of values.
