stimuluscommandslist -- Stimulus specification format

The list of stimuli is read as a table, where the first column specifies the stimulus type (usually a character string) and the remaining columns specify the timing and other control arguments for that stimulus. There must be no blank lines within the list of stimuli.

The different types of stimuli are: \l[file_tif;file.tif] Display a TIF format image \l[file_pcx;file.pcx] Display a PCX format image \l[file_wav;file.wav] Play a sound \l[file_avi;file.avi] Display a video movie \l[“text string”;“text string”] Display a text string \l[erase;erase] Erase the screen (set to back color) \l[font;font] Change the default text font \l[color;color] Change the default front, back, and text colors \l[forecolor;forecolor] Change the default graphics color \l[backcolor;backcolor] Change the default back color \l[textcolor;textcolor] Change the default back color \l[bdraw;bdraw] Draw an empty box \l[bfill;bfill] Draw a filled box \l[edraw;edraw] Draw an empty ellipse (or circle) \l[efill;efill] Draw a filled ellipse (or circle) \l[line;line] Draw a line \l[rwait;rwait] Wait for a subject response \l[owait;owait] Wait for an operator response \l[twait;twait] Wait for a trigger \l[fix;fix] Display a fixation cross \l[reset;reset] Reset the time base \l[writeport;writeport] Write to a communications port \l[quit;quit] Exit the paradigm \l[user1;user1] User defined stimulus 1 \l[user2;user2] User defined stimulus 2 \l[user3;user3] User defined stimulus 3
