A quick way to get an overview of how ShowPlay works is to run a simple example paradigm and then look at the input file to see how it was set up. To run a quick sample, start CIGAL and select “ShowPlay example” from the ShowPlay pull-down menu in CIGAL.

The stimulus file for this example is called 'showdemo.ppf' and is located in the folder 'Demo' under the CIGAL directory where CIGAL is installed (see 'showplay.imp' for more information).

Note: CIGAL occasionally handles Windows menus incorrectly. In particular, the first time an alert or menu window appears it may be blank. You can avoid this problem by selecting the “Initialize” option in the ShowPlay pull-down menu before doing anything else.
