To run a paradigm you first load the paradigm parameters and then execute the paradigm. This can be done using the ShowPlay pull-down menu using the following steps:

 choose "Load parameter file"   (and open the parameter file)
 choose "Run"

If you are just testing and want to zip through your paradigm quickly you can choose the “Set double display speed” option before choosing “Run”. Choosing the double speed option many times will make the paradigm run faster and faster.

You can also run a paradigm by typing in commands in CIGAL's Command window. For example, to run the file “paramfile” type:

 showplay paramfile       (same as choosing "Load ..." above)
 showplay                 (same as choosing "Run" above)
