ShowPlay Reference Manual, Chapter 3 (ControlVariables): physio_flag

Physio_flag -- integer value that controls physiological triggering options

PHYSIO_FLAG controls how analog physiological triggering occurs in Showplay. These triggers can be used to control the timing of events in the stimulus table in two different ways. One way is to insert specific 'twait' events into the stimulus table right before the events you want to synchronize. If you do that you should may want to insert a 'reset' event after the 'twait' to accomodate slight timing variations occurring in real-time (otherwise subsequent event timing will be based on scan start time rather than trigger time). The second way to synchronize is to specify the physiological trigger option for specific events using the stimulus flag.

  • 1 - line channel trigger
  • 2 - cardiac channel trigger
  • 4 - respiratory channel trigger
  • 8 - scanner pulse trigger
  • 32 - preload sample analog data (from DMDATA file 'pdigm_trig')
  • 64 - display trigger events (for debugging)
