jvs:fscan:manual:chapter1:header

Creating a header is another way to store changes made to datasets without affecting the original files. A header will link to the original files, but will also store changes made in fScan. Specifically, any behavioral files that are linked to functional images will be stored within the new header, and do not need to be relinked every time the images are opened in fScan (to see how to link behavioral and schedule files, see here). Headers are specific instances of storing additional data to dataset images.

To create a header, open a command line and type in:

  • -o hdronly [filename]
